ABOUT OUR TEAM
Rod Armour was founded in 2016 by Curtis (then aged 19) and Christian (aged 16). We are two brothers who have always had a passion for fishing. We started Rod Armour after a disastrous and costly trip to Hamilton Island. We transported our expensive rods on an aeroplane in a PVC case, thinking that would be enough to protect them. After arriving, we opened the rod tube, and to our disappointment six out of the seven rods were damaged with either broken tips, snapped guides or fractures. That is why we started Rod Armour.
Why Rod Armour?
Rod Armour aims to create the best product possible to provide convenience to the angler by organising and protecting their gear.
We are as much of a design company as a fishing company. We spend hours and hours behind the scenes brainstorming, sketching, prototyping and testing our products. We want to build a brand based on quality, utility and service.
We believe in providing the best service possible. We are here every step of the way from pre to post purchase. We will answer all of your questions related to our products and fishing. We are available via email, phone or our preferred method, live chat.
